Timberland Opens Specialty Retail Store In South Shore

BRAINTREE, MA — Timberland has officially opened its newest Massachusetts location.

The global lifestyle brand debuted its new specialty retail store Friday at South Shore Plaza, 250 Granite St. in Braintree. The store carries footwear, apparel and accessories for men, women and children.

To celebrate the opening, Timberland is hosting special activations on Friday and Saturday, including a boot customization station for customers who make purchases and appearances by the brand’s 13-foot-long “Big Boot” in the surrounding area.

The customization station features a lace-and-patch bar as well as laser-engraving options.

Footwear offerings include Timberland’s Premium 6-Inch Boot, Timberland PRO safety footwear for trade professionals and a range of casual and outdoor styles. The apparel selection focuses on everyday essentials and Timberland outerwear.

Founded in 1973, Timberland built its reputation on durable, weather-ready footwear. Its Original Yellow Boot remains one of the company’s most recognizable products. While rooted in outdoor workwear, the brand has also become a fixture in streetwear, fashion and lifestyle culture.

Today, Timberland sells footwear, apparel and accessories through its retail stores, website and wholesale partners in more than 100 countries.

The company is headquartered in Stratham, New Hampshire.

The new South Shore Plaza location is Timberland’s first specialty retail store in Massachusetts. The brand also operates an outlet store at Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.
