Brookline Police Looking To Identify Possible Shoplifter
The reported incident occurred in late April.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a shoplifting incident at a store on Commonwealth Avenue earlier this month.
The man was captured on surveillance footage during the incident that took place on Tuesday, April 21. According to police, he is approximately 50 years old and has a dark beard. He was last seen wearing a blue baseball hat, dark Columbia brand jacket, dark pants, and white sneakers. He was also carrying a backpack with the theme of the cartoon "Adventure Time."
Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2244. The department emphasized that the man is not considered "wanted" at this time.
