Brookline Police Looking To Identify Possible Shoplifter
Police say the incident took place last weekend.

BROOKLINE, MA — The police department is looking to identify a person it believes was involved in a shoplifting incident that took place earlier this month.
The person was captured on surveillance footage during the reported incident on Sunday, May 10 at a retail business on Commonwealth Avenue. According to police, the person of interest is a woman with dark hair. She is believed to be approximately five feet and five inches tall. She was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray pants, and black slide-on shoes. In addition, she was also carrying a multi-colored satchel bag on her shoulder.
Community members with relevant information are being asked to contact detectives at 617-730-2244. The department emphasized that the woman is not considered "wanted" at this time.
