Lahey Clinic Named Among Top Hospitals In Massachusetts
The hospital has been named among the best in new rankings from U.S. News & World Report.
BURLINGTON, MA — Lahey Clinic has been named one of the top four hospitals in Massachusetts and the Boston region in U.S. News & World Report’s latest Best Hospitals rankings.
The Burlington hospital ranked No. 4 in both Massachusetts and the Boston area for 2026-27, according to Lahey Clinic. It was also nationally ranked among the top 50 hospitals for urology.
The recognition comes after U.S. News released its annual rankings last week, naming Brigham and Women’s Hospital the top hospital in Massachusetts. This year’s rankings placed greater emphasis on risk-adjusted patient outcomes while reducing or eliminating the weight of several measures involving hospital size, staffing, technology and reputation.

“Being recognized among the region’s best hospitals is a tremendous honor and a testament to the extraordinary work happening across Lahey every day,” Lahey Clinic President Susan Moffatt-Bruce said in a statement.
U.S. News evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions, according to Lahey. The rankings consider measures including risk-adjusted mortality, preventable complications and patient experience.
