Join Longfellow House-Washington’s Headquarters for a special evening of historic house tours exploring the intersections of Victorian scientific thought, the lure of the supernatural, and their echoes today.
50-minute tours will invite participants to examine the unknown as we consider the Longfellow family’s entanglements with forensics and phrenology, early views of outer space, the spiritualism movement, and their pioneering use of ether anesthesia.Tours available at 5:00PM, 5:30PM, 6:00PM, and 6:30PM.
Please note: This tour will include sensitive but frank discussions of 19th century violence, medical procedures, and drug use. Please use discretion when registering.

Enjoy Traditional Cooking and Party with Us in Cambridge, MA! Here at the Dumpling School we like to consider ourselves not as a traditional cooking class but more of a dumpling PARTY! When you sign up for one of our dumpling parties, we want you to have as much fun as possible while learning a new skill.
How to roll and fold dumplings How to properly stuff dumplings with different fillings. How to make different dumpling shapes. How to cook dumplings.
You don’t have to be a cooking expert to enjoy one of our events. We welcome people of all skill levels and interests to take part in our dumpling parties. Since we are focusing on fun and not precision and accuracy, this is the perfect, relaxed environment for friends, family, and loved ones.
For Children’s Groups 1 adult for every 5 Child is required to stay for the duration of the class and will be ticketed.
