Award-winning folk-rock singer-songwriter and LGBTQ+ educator Catie Curtis is coming back to where her career first took flight. Curtis will perform a special album release show at Club Passim on Friday, Aug. 21, 2026, to celebrate her latest record, C'mon Butterfly.
The performance marks a homecoming for the Massachusetts native, who built her initial following in the vibrant folk scenes of Cambridge and Boston. Over a career spanning more than 25 years, Curtis has released 15 albums and toured nationally, gracing prominent stages ranging from Carnegie Hall to the White House.
Known for her deeply personal songwriting and warm, conversational style, Curtis’s work has earned her multiple Boston Music Awards and praise from fellow artists, including Mary Chapin Carpenter. Her music has also played a notable role in LGBTQ+ visibility, highlighted by her anthem "Radical".
