Friends Book Sale

Annual Book Sale Starts June 9 at Peabody Institute Library, Danvers

The Annual Book Sale, organized by the Friends of the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers, will run from Tuesday, June 9 through Saturday, June 13 in the library’s Gordon Room, 15 Sylvan Street, Danvers.

Gently-used books, paperbacks, CDs, DVDs, audiobooks and vinyl records will be available for purchase, starting at one dollar!

Drop-off of donations can be made from June 1 – June 6 during regular library hours at the Gordon Room on the ground floor of the library.

A preview party for Friends members only will take place on Tuesday, June 9 from 6 – 8 pm. Anyone wanting to become a Friend can join that evening!

Book sale dates are Wednesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 11 from 10:00 am – 8 pm; Friday, June 12 from 10:0am – 4 pm, and Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 am – 2 pm. Discounts will be available on Saturday.

The book sale is the primary source of fundraising for the Friends. These funds underwrite the cost of 21 museum passes – enjoyed by kids and adults alike –as well as select library programming and cultural and educational events.
