Obituary: Marilyn H. (Horton) Letvinchuk, Registered Nurse

Marilyn H. (Horton) Letvinchuk, 87, passed away on September 21, 2015 in her home, following a very brief illness. She was the wife of the late John M. Letvinchuk, with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Born on February 11, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Helene (McLaughlin) Horton. She was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Saint Mary’s Girls’ High School in Lynn. She also graduated from the Salem Hospital School of Nursing, where she earned her nursing degree. Marilyn had been employed as a R.N. at Salem Hospital for many years. She was a longtime resident of Danvers, where she had been a communicant of Saint Richard Parish. Marilyn was a devoted mother, grandmother, nurse and friend.

She is survived by her children, Jack Letvinchuck and his wife Mary Ellen of Davie, FL, Peter Letvinchuk and his wife Barbara of Manchester, NH, Mary Ellen Karin and her husband Mike of Byfield and Philip Letvinchuk and his wife Kelly of Middleton, eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Friday, September 25, 2015 in Saint Richard Parish, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting Hours are Thursday from 4-8PM at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
