Topsfield Fair Warns Vendors Of Scam Attempts
Fair organizers said someone is contacting potential vendors looking to charge for spots at this fall's festival.
TOPSFIELD, MA — Topsfield Fair organizers are warning prospective vendors about a potential scam.
"We've been made aware of a spam message circulating from someone claiming to be 'Joel Martinez,' requesting payment from vendors to have their food truck at our event," organizers said. "Please be advised: this is not affiliated with the Topsfield Fair.
"For your safety, only trust information and links shared through our official social media pages, website, or directly from our personnel."
