Centre Music House

FRAMINGHAM, MA – Centre Music House, a cornerstone of the MetroWest music community since 1973, is proud to announce its celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, running from May 4th through May 9th, 2026. This week-long event is dedicated to honoring the talented educators whose over 320 combined years of experience have helped to fulfill the mission of "creating a more musical world, one student at a time."




For over 50 years, Centre Music House has been defined by its world-class faculty. Today, the school boasts a staff of 20 expert instructors with a combined mastery of over 21 different instruments. These educators provide a bridge between technical proficiency and artistic passion, mentoring musicians of all ages and skill levels.



"I cannot overstate how fortunate we are to have such incredible instructors on our staff," says Max Larson, Owner of Centre Music House. "These are folks who have amassed a wealth of experience learning, teaching, and performing music all over the world and they share that invaluable gift with students right here in our community. They are also some of the most generous and kind-hearted people I know. So, we're dedicating this week to share how grateful we are to have them in our lives."





To celebrate, Centre Music House is inviting students—both past and present—as well as the local community to participate in several "Fan-Focused" initiatives:
<ul><li>"Fan Mail": Students are encouraged to drop off handwritten notes or cards at the studio for their instructors. A dedicated "Fan Mail" station will be available in the lobby starting April 27th and run through May 8th.</li><li>Google Reviews: Community members can share their success stories and shout out their specific instructors by leaving a review online, helping others discover the impact of music education.</li><li>Video Tributes: Students can film a quick video message using our In-Store Video Tribute station expressing their gratitude. These clips may be shared on Centre Music’s social media channels to spotlight the incredible bond between teacher and student. This station will be available starting April 27th and run through May 8th.</li></ul>
Whether you are a current student or someone who took lessons at any point since our founding in 1973, your voice helps celebrate the legacy of music education in Framingham.

Gateway Camera Club is hosting Paul Toussaint’s presentation of “Mobile Photography” Tuesday, April 28th
at 7:00pm. Join us at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 3 Maple Street in Framingham and experience Paul’s paradigm-altering approach to photography.

Paul will discuss the use of photo editing apps, such as Snapseed, IColorama, and others, for hand-held devices. He’ll show how these apps can help you edit, enhance and basically do what it takes to turn an ordinary photo into an exciting piece of art.

Paul has been hailed a 'pioneer' in the iPhonic art movement, mastering the use of apps to create fine art images presented on wood, canvas, textured paper, glass, and metal.His works have been shown in NYC Times Square and displayed in galleries across the US and Europe.

Mass Audubon's Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary

Spring is the perfect time to meander along the many trails at Audubon’s 624-acre Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary at 280 Elliot St., Natick, MA.
To cap off your stroll, visit to the Nature Center where you can browse the Gateway Camera Club’s photo exhibit. Over thirty striking images of nature and landscapes are on display in the sanctuary’s exhibit space. It’s a great time to learn about the club, after you snap a few photos of the natural beauty that is Broadmoor.
The exhibit runs through Sunday, May 31st. The Nature Center is open Tuesday-Sunday and Monday holidays from 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Gateway Camera Club provides an informal, friendly, and supportive environment for photographers of all levels of experience and interests. Club activities include member competitions, guest speakers, educational presentations, and field trips in the local area.

Experience some of the oldest homes in Sudbury that witnessed 1776: the momentous year of the ratification of the United States Declaration of Independence and one that recalls the town spirit in Sudbury through its famous 01776 zip code.
The Sudbury Witness House Tour will begin at the first stop: the Loring Parsonage. The home was built for Reverend Israel Loring (1682-1772), stood through the American Revolution, and is now the home of the Sudbury History Center and Museum.
