Framingham Man Charged With Dragging Dog While Driving Truck: Reports
The pit bull mix was reportedly dragged for about 10 minutes.
FRAMINGHAM, MA — A Framingham man was charged with dragging a dog from his truck for about 10 minutes, according to reports.
Christian Ventura, 23, was reportedly charged with animal cruelty and driving on a suspended license.
"A witness pulled his vehicle in front of the truck to force it to stop," according to MetroWest Daily News. "Witnesses told police the driver, later identified as Ventura, got out of the truck, picked up the bleeding dog, threw it into the truck and drove home. Witnesses followed the truck, the prosecutor said."

"The dog, a Pitbull mix named Laika, was taken to Framingham Animal Hospital by Animal Control where she received treatment," a 7 News Boston story said. "Animal Control said Laika received stitches in one paw, and had road rash across the rest of her body."
