The new restaurant will be in the Lexington Liquors space at 7 Depot Square. The liquor shop is listed as permanently closed on Google.

Sam and Kinnari Patel, who own the liquor store, will be starting Commune All Day Cafe, according to The Lexington Observer.

The spot will serve breakfast and lunch, including coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, tacos, acai bowls and more. The Patels are also applying to a liquor license so that they can serve beer and wine as well, The Lexington Observer reported.
