Bridging Divides Over Pizza and Conversation

The Divides Project invites you to an evening of thoughtful conversation, shared food & drink, and community-building at Idle Hands Craft Ales in Malden on Wednesday, July 15, from 6:30 - 8:30 PM.

In a time when division often dominates headlines and social media feeds, this event offers something different: an opportunity to sit down with neighbors, listen to diverse perspectives and explore practical ways to strengthen understanding across differences.

The Divides Project is a grant-funded initiative that seeks to understand what divides us—as individuals, as a community, and as global citizens — and how art & dialogue can transform divides into opportunities for deeper connection.

Together, we'll examine some of the forces that contribute to division while also highlighting the relationships, conversations, and creative approaches that can help bring people together.

No special expertise is required—just curiosity, respect for others, and a willingness to participate.
