Salem Street Neighborhood Cleanup and Celebration: Neighbors Love Neat Streets

Neighborhood Cleanup: 10:00-Noon; Celebration b/h Salemwood School: Noon-1:00PM. The cleanup will begin behind Salemwood School (529 Salem Street, Malden) at 10:00 a.m., with parking located in the back lot. Volunteers of all ages are called and encouraged to help clean neighborhood streets, parks, and public spaces while building relationships with different people and demonstrating pride for the community. The Neat Streets Project is funded by Malden’s Community Connection Grant and fueled by volunteers. Salem Street Neighborhood will be the first cleanup of the Neat Streets project, signifying the beginning of an exciting journey to beautify local neighborhoods impacted by the litter accumulated by daily life.
