Marlborough Lions Club Invites Young Artists To Poster Contest

MARLBOROUGH, MA — Young artists in Marlborough and Hudson are being invited to take part in the 2026-27 Lions International Peace Poster Contest.

The Marlborough Lions Club is encouraging students ages 11 to 13 as of Nov. 15, 2026, to create original hand-drawn artwork for this year’s contest theme, “Harmony in Humanity.”

The annual contest is sponsored by local Lions Clubs worldwide and asks young people to create posters reflecting a peace-related theme. This year’s theme focuses on imagining a world where people from different cultures, backgrounds and communities live together peacefully through respect, kindness and understanding.

“When we treat each other with respect and kindness, peace can flourish,” the contest theme description says. “We invite young people to imagine a world where people of every culture and background live together peacefully — celebrating differences, finding common ground and creating true harmony in humanity.”

Teachers are also being encouraged to share the contest with students.
