Local Comedians To Headline Annual Night In Support Of The Addiction Referral Center

The 15th annual event supports the ARC's free substance use disorder recovery services in Middlesex County.

MARLBOROUGH, MA — A comedy night in support of the Addiction Referral Center in Marlborough is set to happen this month.

The fifteenth Annual Comedy Night Benefit, held in support of the ARC, will feature the area's most popular comedians on Mar. 13. The event will take place at the Hudson Portuguese Club, located at 13 Port Street in Hudson.

The ARC has served the local community since 1972, providing free individualized referral services, recovery coach appointments, and daily peer-support meetings. These services are offered at no cost to those seeking recovery from substance use disorder. The nonprofit organization relies on fundraising and donations to continue its operations.

The Comedy Night Benefit will feature comedians Mark Riley, Sam Pelletier, and Ethan Cannon, and Dave Rattigan will host the evening.

Rattigan has performed in Dublin, Ireland, Japan, and Fenway Park, along with a number of other spots.

Mark Riley is a Boston headliner who was formerly a professional ice hockey referee. He has performed with Steven Wright, Joe Rogan, and Lenny Clarke.

Sam Pelletier, originally from Maine, won the Cellar on Treadwell Competition in 2023 and was a finalist in the New England's Funniest Comedian Competition of 2021.

Ethan Cannon performs nightly around Boston and New England at various venues.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7:30 p.m. Food will be available for purchase, and coffee and desserts are complimentary. Individual tickets are $35, and tables of 10 are $350. Tickets should be purchased in advance at the ARC.
