1,000 Runners Expected to the Starting Line for the Melrose YMCA Spooky Sprint 5k!

Join the Melrose Family YMCA on Saturday, October 31 at 8:30 AM for one of our biggest community traditions. Run it, walk it, bring the kids, grab your friends, wear a costume, and help us fill the streets of Melrose with 1,000 runners supporting a great cause.

The 5K starts at the Melrose Family YMCA and winds through downtown Melrose and Pine Banks. Stick around after the race for refreshments, age-group awards, and our costume contest.

You can bring the whole family with our $100 Family Rate for Four. Make Halloween morning a Y tradition. Youth also receive $10 off registration.

And every mile makes a difference. Proceeds from the Spooky Sprint 5k support the YMCA of Metro North Annual Fund, helping ensure children, adults, and families can participate in Y Academy, summer camp, youth sports programs, swimming lessons, and more. Last year, the YMCA of Metro North provided more than $3 million in financial assistance and scholarships for families to access the programs they need at the Y.

Register by October 15 to guarantee your long-sleeve race shirt and lock in the current registration price.

Let’s get 1,000 runners to the starting line.
