Citizens Opens Milford Branch, Donates $2,500 To Youth Center

The bank said its new location was designed to give customers a dedicated space to discuss personal banking, wealth management and more.

MILFORD, MA — A New England-based bank has moved its Milford location from an in-store branch to a standalone branch.

Citizens Bank marked the opening of the branch at 55 Medway Rd. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday. The bank also donated $2,500 to the Milford Youth Center during the event.

Citizens said the upgraded location was designed to give customers a dedicated space to discuss personal banking, wealth management and small business services. The branch is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday.

Citizens also celebrated its donation to the Milford Youth Center, which rovides free after-school programming for Milford residents ages 8 to 18 from 2:15 to 6 p.m. weekdays. The center’s mission includes promoting self-esteem, building character and encouraging community involvement and service.
