Milford To Begin Snow Removal Operations Throughout Town

MILFORD, MA — The Milford Highway Department said it will begin snow removal operations at a number of streets in the town.

Snow removal operations will begin on 27 roadways on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. At the same time, the barking ban remains for the entire town.

This comes after a major winter storm touched down in Milford and across New England on Sunday and Monday, bringing cold temperatures with wind chills as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit, along with more than 20 inches of snow in the town.

Areas under the parking ban will see increased, zero-tolerance enforcement, and vehicles will be towed immediately, according to the town.

The town said it will issue an announcement once the parking ban is lifted.

• Winter St B/S Main St to Granite St – One Windrow

• Congress R/S Pine St to Post Office
• Park St R/S Main St to Congress St
• Exchange St R/S Congress St to Main St
