The funding is not final yet. The Legislature’s budget page says the Senate budget moves to a conference committee after Senate approval, and the FY27 final budget was not yet available as of Wednesday, June 3. The governor can approve, veto or reduce budget items after lawmakers send a final spending plan to her desk, according to the Legislature.
