Milford MA Primary 2026: Candidates, Polling Locations

Voters will weigh in on several contested races Tuesday.

MILFORD, MA — Voters will head to the polls Tuesday to decide three contested races.

The Sept. 1 primary includes Democratic contests for U.S. Senate and the 4th Congressional District, along with a Republican contest for governor.

Incumbent Sen. Edward J. Markey faces U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton for the Democratic Senate nomination. In the 4th Congressional District, which includes Milford, incumbent U.S. Rep. Jake Auchincloss faces Jason Poulos, according to the Secretary of the Commonwealth.

Republican voters will choose between Michael Roger Minogue and Brian Shortsleeve for governor. Milford’s state legislative races are not contested.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Precincts 1 and 6 will vote at the Milford Senior Center, precincts 2 and 3 at the Italian American Veterans Hall and precincts 4, 5, 7 and 8 at the Milford Portuguese Club, according to the Milford Town Clerk.
