MILFORD, MA — A large tractor-trailer struck a utility pole Monday, causing road closures and significant traffic delays in downtown Milford.

Police said a large tractor-trailer pulled down wires and a pole, affecting the area around Main, School, Jefferson and Pine streets as of 12 p.m. Milford police reported no injuries.

Police announced closures at Main and Spruce streets, Main and School streets and Spruce and School streets.
