Natick Cop Arrested On Domestic Assault, Other Charges: Report

The officer was arraigned Monday in Framingham District Court and is now on paid leave from his job.

A Natick police officer faces charges of domestic assault and battery, strangulation, and intimidation of a witness after he was arrested on Saturday, the MetroWest Daily News has reported.

Jackson Dwyer, 28, was arrested in Natick by police there as well as from Holliston. He’s been placed on paid administrative leave from his position with the Natick force.

Details about what prompted those actions have not been disclosed. Natick Deputy Police Chief Brian Lauzon confirmed the arrest and the leave to the newspaper.

Dwyer pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on Monday in Framingham District Court and was released.

He is due back in court May 22 for a pretrial conference.
