Celebrated Beverly Seal's Journey Comes To Life At North Shore Children's Museum

PEABODY, MA — Nearly four years after a visiting seal in Beverly caused a sensation across the North Shore, a North Shore musician, author and educator will share the story of Shoebert's "Unfinished Journey" with a live reading and art demonstration at the North Shore Children's Museum of Peabody.

Andrea LeBlanc's new picture book includes watercolor illustrations and takes readers through Shoebert's adventures throughout the North Shore, "exploring community, local history, and belonging along the way."

The North Shore Children's Museum of Peabody invites families to come for a morning of art-making, with attendees learning how to create oil pastels and watercolor crafts.

The program is set for Saturday at 10 a.m.
