MA Simon Malls Offer $1K Scholarships For Class of 2027 HS Seniors

PEABODY, MA — High school seniors in Massachusetts communities served by Simon shopping centers can now apply for the Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship through Simon Youth Foundation.

The program offers a $1,000 one-time, non-renewable award to eligible graduating seniors planning their next step after high school.

Participating Simon Center Malls are the Auburn Mall, Burlington Mall, Cape Cod Mall, Copley Place, Lee Premium Outlets, Liberty Tree Mall, Northshore Mall, South Shore Plaza, Square One Mall, The Shops at Chestnut Hill and Wrentham Village Premium Outlets.

The scholarship can support students pursuing a two- or four-year college or university, vocational training, or trade school.

Applications for the 2026-2027 scholarship cycle are open now through Feb. 12, 2027, at 5 p.m. Scholarships awarded through this application cycle will be paid directly to recipients' accredited post-secondary institutions beginning in Fall 2027.

Eligible applicants must be high school seniors who live and attend school in a Simon community, plan to graduate by Spring 2027, and are legal residents of the United States or Canada.

Applicants must demonstrate academic promise and financial need, and plan to enroll full-time in an accredited post-secondary program after graduation.

Ten of the highest-ranking applicants nationally will also be selected for a Shari Simon Greenberg Community Scholarship Award of Excellence.

Those awards are renewable for up to $1,000 per year, subject to available funding, for up to three years or until the recipient earns an associate or bachelor's degree.
