Peabody Declares Snow Emergency Parking Ban
The ban was set to begin on Friday with 3 inches of snow predicted for the North Shore.
PEABODY, MA — Peabody declared a snow emergency parking ban beginning on Friday with forecasts predicting up to 3 inches of snow on the North Shore.
The parking ban was set to go into effect at 7 p.m. and last until further notice.
All vehicles left on city streets will be subject to towing and ticketing.

The NWS is calling for a combination of snow and rain to move in around noon on Friday with rain to the south and snow north of the Route 2 corridor out through Littleton, Fitchburg and Gardner.

The NWS said 1 to 3 inches are possible for much of the state, with lesser amounts on the South Shore and Cape Cod.
