Public's Help Sought In Identifying Dog Remains Found On Peabody Highway

The Animal Rescue League said the remains were found on the shoulder of the Route 1 onramp on April 18.

PEABODY, MA — The Animal Rescue League of Boston is seeking the public's help in identifying the remains of a dog that was found on a Peabody onramp last month.

The ARL of Boston said the dog was discovered on the shoulder of the Route 1 onramp behind Santarpio's Pizza on April 18.

The dog is described as an unspayed, black female American bulldog/pitbull mix. She was wearing a distinctive collar featuring sunflowers on a blue background with a yellow clasp:
