TruNorth Bank To Host Free Peabody Paper Shredding Event

North Shore residents can bring up to two boxes of documents to be shredded for free.

PEABODY, MA — North Shore residents needing to safely dispose of paper documents are invited to a free Shred Day at the TruNorth Bank location in Peabody next week.

The bank said customers and members of the community can bring up to two boxes of paper to the Peabody branch at 248 Andover Street for shredding at no cost on Sept. 26 from 9 to 11 a.m.

Shredding documents reduces the risk of identity theft from bringing old mail, receipts, statements or bills, canceled checks, pay stubs, medical records, or any other unwanted paper documents containing personal or confidential information.
