MA Mom Lindsay Clancy's Emotional Journal Entries Read At Triple Murder Trial

PLYMOUTH, MA — The jury in the Lindsay Clancy triple murder case heard emotional excerpts from the Duxbury mother's journals, according to reports.

"I now have horrible insomnia and anxiety which is causing depression," Clancy, 35, wrote in her journal, according to CBS. "I have no appetite, I don't know what's wrong with me. I want help. I want to be well."

Clancy, 35, is charged with the January 2023 murders of 5-year-old Cora, 3-year-old Dawson, and 8-month-old Callan Clancy. Her trial is in its second week

Clancy, who was treated for postpartum mental health issues, has admitted to killing her children, according to reports.

Clancy detailed her struggles in her journals, according to reports.

"It’s like I’m so desperate to get a mental break from taking care of everyone that my mind is trying to make something physically wrong with me,” a Boston.com story said she wrote on Nov. 18, 2022. “My mind never shuts off. It’s constantly thinking of the next thing someone needs. I can’t shut it off. I desperately want to go back to work, but now I don’t know how I’m going to function, and it worries me.”

CT Insider reported that Clancy wrote in her journal, "My mind never shuts off," and, "I want help, I want to be well."
