Pilot Seriously Injured In Plane Crash Into Plymouth Pond: Fire Department
Divers pulled the pilot from the water, according to the fire department.
PLYMOUTH, MA — The pilot of a small plane was seriously injured in a crash at Curlew Pond, according to Plymouth Fire Chief Neil Foley.
The two-seater plane crashed into the small pond in Myles Standish State Forest about 7:30 a.m. Thursday, the fire department said in a media release.
"The pilot was recovered from the water with assistance from the Plymouth County Dive Team and is currently being transported to an area hospital.," the release said.

Officials have yet to determine if there was a passenger on the plane as well as the pilot and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
