Friendship Home’s River Rock Music Festival returns to the scenic Weir River Farm in Hingham, Massachusetts for its 6th Annual Festival. Set against a backdrop of rolling pastures and breathtaking views, this year’s festival promises a full day of live music, local eats, and family fun. Attendees will enjoy live performances by Julia Diana, Luke Curran, Road Soda, Copilot, Spruce, The Wind and Blüfish! Throughout the day, festival-goers can savor delicious eats from Junior Betts BBQ and South Shore Taco Guy, satisfy their sweet tooth with treats from The Nuttiest Cookie, and sip on refreshing beer, wine, and cocktails served by Decanted Wine Truck and Pour Garden.

SFD provides students with a solid foundation in apparel design and construction, and the skills required for a successful career in fashion. Our technical Certificate program is taught by experts in the field of fashion design. Students may take courses toward the Certificate or on a class-by-class basis to fill professional education interests. For creatives and textile arts enthusiasts, SFD offers workshops in various fiber arts such as weaving, lace making, embroidery, millinery, upcycling, and more. As an SFD student, you will join a diverse community of emerging designers. Our studios are filled with recent high school graduates, students from nearby colleges enriching their education with fashion, and working professionals embarking on a new career path.
