Salem Opens Forest River Pool Ahead Of Dangerous Heat Wave
Residents can sign up for season and daily passes with pre-registration required for July 4.
SALEM, MA — The city of Salem has opened the updated Forest River Pool to residents ahead of this week's impending extreme heat wave.
Seasonal and daily passes are available for residents. Pre-registration is required for July 4.
The 2026 season will run for nine weeks, ending on Aug. 29.

Membership rates and daily passes are as follows:
Individual Pass (18+) - $50.00
Youth Pass (ages 3-17) - $25.00
Senior Pass (ages 60+) - $40.00
Family Pass - $125.00
Daily passes and guest passes are available for purchase at the pool.

Proof of residency is required. Only cash is accepted for daily passes.
Resident Adults - $5.00
Children - $5.00
Non-resident Adults accompanied by a resident - $10.00
Non-resident Children accompanied by a resident - $5.00
The Forest River pool is open for Salem Residents and their guests, non-residents cannot enter without being a guest of a Salem resident.
No walk-ins will be accepted on July 4. Sign up for a spot that day here.
