Shrewsbury officials said residents in the area may have experienced discolored water or lower temperatures once service was restored. Officials said running cold water in an outside or downstairs faucet could help with those issues.

“We apologize for any and all inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue emergency repairs,” Shrewsbury officials wrote in the Monday announcement.
