Shrewsbury Police Welcome Newest Officer, Marine Veteran

SHREWSBURY, MA — The Shrewsbury Police Department welcomed its newest officer to the team last week.

Special Officer Mike Lupisella joined the department after several years in law enforcement, bringing experience from multiple agencies, having begun his policing career in 2018, SPD said.

Lupisella currently serves full-time as a firefighter with MassPort at Worcester Regional Airport. In his new role with the Shrewsbury Police Department, he will assist by working police details while away from his full-time position.

In addition to his public safety experience, Lupisella is also a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

The department welcomed Lupisella when announcing his addition to the force.
