Break-ins, Stolen Wallets, And Milk Attacks: Somerville Crime Log

SOMERVILLE, MA — The following reports were received by Somerville Police between Tuesday, Sept. 1 and Sunday, Sept. 6.

Tuesday, Sept. 1

12:17 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a disturbance at a gas station on McGrath Highway. Officers spoke with someone who said a man came into the store and threw a gallon of milk at him. The assailant was soon located and placed under arrest.

Thursday, Sept. 3

9:33 a.m. — Police responded to a report of a breaking and entering at a residence on Gorham Street. A resident said someone entered his home and stole his wife’s wallet.

Saturday, Sept. 5

1:52 p.m. — Police responded to a report of an attempted breaking and entering at a residence on Sacramento Street. A resident said her window screen had been cut but nothing was reported missing.

Sunday, Sept. 6

2:45 p.m. — Police received a report of breaking and entering from a woman who said her wallet was stolen overnight on Sept. 1.
