Somerville Police Looking For Serial Home Burglar
The man has a history of breaking into residences.

SOMERVILLE, MA — The police department announced Tuesday that it was actively looking to locate a man with an extensive criminal record and multiple current outstanding warrants for his arrest.
Fabio Armelio, 48, is described by police as a prolific residential burglary offender who is known for breaking into homes in the West End neighborhood of Somerville. Armelio was last seen in the area of Ossipee Road.
Armelio’s last known high-profile arrest came in January of 2025 when he was found hiding in the basement of a residence on Cherry Street. At that time, he had 20 warrants out of Somerville, Cambridge, Boston, Lawrence, and the campuses of Tufts University and MIT. In addition, he was the main person of interest in 12 breaking and entering cases in the Powderhouse Square.

The department describes Armelio as being five feet and 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 170 pounds. His physical features include long gray hair and brown eyes. He is currently homeless.
