Sudbury Catch Connect Shuttle To Stay Free For Another Year
Sudbury's on-demand shuttle service will remain free for riders for another year.
SUDBURY, MA — Sudbury’s on-demand shuttle service will remain free for riders for another year.
The Catch Connect Shuttle, a curb-to-curb shared ride service run through the MetroWest Regional Transit Authority, will offer free rides through June 2027, according to the Sudbury Transportation Committee
The service operates Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Riders can travel anywhere within Sudbury and to the Target at 605 Boston Post Road East in Marlborough, where they can connect with MWRTA Fixed Route 7C, according to the town.

Riders can request trips through the MWRTA Catch app or by calling 508-283-5083 if they are unable to use the app. The app gives riders an estimated arrival time and vehicle tracking, according to the town.
The service is available on fully accessible Catch Connect vehicles. Riders must be at least 12 years old to ride alone, according to the town.

The Sudbury service debuted in July 2024 after MassDOT awarded nearly $75,000 to expand Catch Connect to the town. Patch also reported in September that the shuttle expanded from noon-to-6 p.m. weekday service to 8 a.m.-to-6 p.m. weekday service because of demand.
