Sudbury Children’s Store To Reopen After Closing Last Year
A children's store is set to return to Sudbury Crossing.
SUDBURY, MA — A store for children is set to return to Sudbury after closing more than a year ago.
Learning Express of Sudbury will reopen in early summer at 435 Boston Post Rd., the business said. The new store is in Sudbury Crossing, a shopping plaza that has seen several recent tenant changes and openings.
Learning Express Toys & Gifts is a specialty toy retailer with locally owned franchise stores. The business sells toys, games, books, puzzles, art supplies and gifts.

The stoefront previously operated at 515 Boston Post Rd. in Sudbury Plaza. The store closed at the end of January 2025 after nearly 30 years in business, according to Sudbury Weekly. At the time, the local news blog reported the business said it had been unable to negotiate a sustainable lease agreement with the plaza’s new owners.
The reopening will bring Learning Express into a plaza that has been adding new businesses.

Formosa Asian Market opened at Sudbury Crossing in May at 435 Boston Post Road, offering specialty Asian groceries, fresh produce and pantry staples.
The plaza’s grocery anchor is also changing. Roche Bros. will hold a grand opening celebration June 13 and June 14 at 439 Boston Post Road after rebranding the former Sudbury Farms location.
