North Shore Death Investigated As Homicide: Essex DA
The Essex DA's Office said a 52-year-old man was found on South Common Street in Lynn on Thursday.
LYNN, MA — The Essex County District Attorney's Office said it is investigating the death of a man found in Lynn on Thursday as a homicide.
Lynn Police responded to a call at approximately 6:18 a.m. Thursday morning and found a 52-year-old man with apparent trauma on the 200 block of South Common Street in Lynn.
He was pronounced deceased on scene.

Essex County DA Paul Tucker and Lynn Police Chief Christopher Reddy said the death is under investigation by the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to Tucker’s office, the Lynn Police Department, and the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
Police said there is not considered to be any wider threat to the public at this time.

Pending family notifications, the man's identity will not be released on Friday, the DA's Office said.
