Police Determine Man 'No Threat To Public Safety' In Tewksbury

Police investigated what was initially reported as a suspicious incident.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Police investigated what was reported as a suspicious incident but said they found "no indication of any criminal activity or threat to public safety..."

A Farmer Avenue resident said that a man drove slowly near a bus stop where several children were present. The children became concerned and ran away.

The person who reported the incident said the man then took a photograph of one of the children's homes.

However, police said they identified the person involved and found he was taking photos as a contractor for a bank.

"At this time, there is no indication of any criminal activity or threat to public safety related to this incident," police said.
