Festival by the Lake on a Sunday this year - June 14. Applications still being accepted.
The Festival by the Lake, organized by the Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association, will be held on Sunday, June 14, from 10am-4pm.

The Wakefield Center Neighborhood Association (WCNA), host of the Festival by the Lake, wants you to know that booth applications are still being accepted from artists and organizations. On April 18, the WCNA started a series of posts on its Facebook page featuring the vendors you will see there. New posts will appear every day until the Festival on June 14.
ARTS & CRAFTS. The biggest attraction at the Festival is the sea of tents under which you will find only the best arts and crafts. Every vendor is juried to ensure consistent quality and variety of items. We insist that everything be handmade by the artisans themselves. You won’t find imports at our show; you will find one-of-a-kind creations of both esthetic and practical value.
NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. About 20% of our booths are sponsored by non-profit organizations willing to share their information and services with you. It’s a great way to learn more about Wakefield’s vibrant groups. There are also fun and informative displays by environmental groups, health organizations, and other local civic groups, and a huge book giveaway by the Friends of the Library.

CHILDREN'S ENTERTAINMENT. While it is a treat just being in the beautiful park right next to the super playground (another WCNA project), children will also enjoy the Festival’s facing painting, games, balloon making and other activities.
MUSIC. Enjoy live music presented by talented local musicians playing from the beautiful bandstand.

FOOD. At our main food tent we offer satisfying fare including burgers, hot dogs, healthy wraps, salads, watermelon, and dessert. Pricing is friendly, too. In addition, we select other food vendors to round out your choices, including sausages, lemonade, fried dough, ice cream, and kettle corn.
