STAMP OUT HUNGER FOOD DRIVE is Saturday, May 9, 2026 to Benefit the Wakefield Food Pantry

Support the Wakefield Food Pantry by leaving non-perishable food items by your mailbox on May 9th

The STAMP OUT HUNGER Food Drive is the nation’s largest single-day food collection effort, organized by the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) since 1993.

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, letter carriers in thousands of cities and towns will collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and at post offices, delivering them to local food banks, pantries, and shelters.

This event helps provide meals for families in need, with donations staying local to support community members.

STAMP OUT HUNGER offers one of the easiest ways you can help stock the Wakefield Food Pantry (WFP) to support the more than 740 families challenged with food insecurity.

In addition to families and children, your WFP team and donations also serve senior citizens, single-person households, disabled individuals as well as our veterans.
