Wakefield's Festival by the Lake all day on Sunday, June 14 (10am-4pm)

Returning for the 40th (?) year, the Festival by the Lake will have ~140 participating crafters, artisans and organizations on the Common.

Tents will be everywhere on the Common this Sunday, as crafters, artists, food and live music fill the sunny day with fun, great shopping and wonderful aromas. Many local people and organizations will be there, as well as artists from elsewhere in N.E.

Enjoy foot tapping music and wonderful food while you talk to representatives from local groups and shop the many booths of vendors this Sunday on the Wakefield Common. Have lunch at the Festival by the Lake, or enjoy a snack! Ice cream, fudge, kettle corn, licorice, cannolis, baked goods, bubble tea, pizza and dumplings will be available, as well as traditional fare such as hot dogs and hamburgers. Live music will be played from the bandstand throughout day, and we have activities for children. And in the artists' and crafters' booths you'll have a wide diversity of choices, many appropriate for Father's Day gifts. There will be authors, jewelers, potters, and woodworkers; clothing for babies, children and adults as well as as fashion accessories; food to take home (honey, dips, herbs and spices, tea, jams and jellies); decor for the inside and outside of your home and health and beauty items for your body. This is one of our largest Festivals ever! Spend the day with the WCNA along the shore of Lake Quannapowitt. Festival runs from 10am-4-m.
