Painting with Watercolor and Acrylics with Dr. Rahul Ray

Develop or refine your painting skills in watercolor and acrylics with Dr. Rahul Ray in this welcoming 8-week studio class at The Arts Wayland Gallery. Meeting Tuesdays from July 7 through August 25, participants will build a strong foundation in observation, perspective, scale, composition, and painting techniques through guided exercises and individualized instruction.

Students will work with a variety of subjects, including still life, landscape, and portraiture, while exploring the unique qualities of both acrylic and watercolor. Acrylics offer versatility and vibrant color, while watercolor instruction will help demystify a medium often considered challenging, making it approachable for beginners and rewarding for more experienced artists.
