Roofing Contractor Dies After Fall From Central MA Home

A man died Wednesday after falling from a home on Flagg Road in Southborough.

SOUTHBOROUGH, MA — A roofing contractor died Wednesday after falling from a home on Flagg Road in Southborough, according to Southborough police and fire officials.

Emergency crews were called to a private residence around 3:0 p.m. on Wednesday for a report of a fall from height. When first responders arrived, they found an adult man suffering from serious injuries consistent with a fall from the roof.

Firefighters provided emergency medical care at the scene before the man was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital. He was later pronounced dead, officials said.

Authorities have not released the victim’s identity.

The incident remains under active investigation by the Southborough Police Department’s Detective Bureau, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

“Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the individual who lost his life,” officials said in a statement.
