League of Women Voters of Winchester and League of Women Voters of Melrose are holding a forum featuring the candidates running for the Democratic nomination for the 5th Middlesex State Senate seat this fall. This seat is currently occupied by Jason Lewis, who is not running for re-election. This district includes Malden, Melrose, Reading, Stoneham, Wakefield, and Winchester.
The forum will be on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 PM and can be viewed live online on Stoneham TV at https://u.peg.tv/s/tdsaa1 . It will be available later for viewing on the Stoneham TV website. As part of our commitment to foster an informed electorate, LWV Winchester and LWV Melrose invite members of the public to submit questions they would like the candidates to answer during the forum.
