New Miss America Weighs in on Deflategate

[NORECIRC[Just when you thought you heard every opinion about Tom Brady and Deflategate, along came the new Miss America.

During Sunday’s annual pageant, Miss Georgia Betty Cantrell was asked by celebrity judge and country singer Brett Eldredge if she believed Tom Brady cheated. Granted, she only had 20 seconds to asked but here is what Cantrell had to say”

“Did he cheat? That’s a really good question. I’m not sure, I think I’d have to be there to see the ball and feel it and make sure it was deflated or not deflated but if there was question there then yes, I think he cheated. If there is any question to be had I think he definitely cheated and he should have been suspended for that, that’s not fair,”

In summary, she doesn’t know if he cheated but if there is any doubt, then yes, he cheated.

Despite the odd response, Cantrell would go on to take the title of Miss America.
