New on Netflix in December: A Very Murray Christmas, Broadchurch and More

With each new month comes new arrivals on Netflix.

And with long vacations and cold weather forcing people indoors, no monthly lineup may be as important as December’s.

A quick look at what’s to come, in a month where most physical activity may be reduced to getting up from the couch to get more cookies, shows classic movies such as “The Great Escape,” getting replaced by holiday-themed entertainment, such as “A Very Murray Christmas.”

Whether that’s a good thing is up for viewers to decide.
