Boy, 11, Killed By Fallen Tree At MI Summer Camp: Sheriff
The boy was walking through a trail when officials said a tree fell and hit him.
BLUE LAKE TOWNSHIP, MI — An 11-year-old boy was killed by a fallen tree at a Michigan summer camp Thursday, according to officials.
The incident happened at 5:20 p.m. at the Owasippe Scout Reservation in Twin Lake, according to the Muskegon County Sheriff's Office.
The boy was walking through a trail when officials said a tree fell and hit him. Officials said he died from his injuries.
