Maner Costerisan charity golf outing raises funds for Family Outreach Center

Maner Costerisan raised $11,000 for the Family Outreach Center through an annual charity golf outing that has supported West Michigan nonprofit organizations for 13 years.

The early August event at Boulder Creek Golf Club marked the first outing held under the Maner Costerisan name following the firm’s merger with Grand Rapids-based Baker Holtz earlier this year. Baker Holtz established the outing and hosted it for the previous 12 years as part of its commitment to giving back to the West Michigan community.

This year’s event brought together 84 golfers, including clients, colleagues and community partners, to support the Grand Rapids-based Family Outreach Center. The nonprofit provides counseling, prevention, substance use treatment and family support services to children, adults and families throughout West Michigan.

“Strong communities are built when people and organizations invest in the people around them,” said Trey Williams, CPA, president of Maner Costerisan. “This outing gives us an opportunity to bring many people together around that shared purpose while helping an organization that is making a real difference for West Michigan families.”

For more than a decade, the charity golf outing has generated support for nonprofit organizations serving West Michigan. Its continuation reflects Maner Costerisan’s broader commitment to the communities it serves through charitable giving, volunteerism and community partnerships.
